How does it work?

Installation instructions

						 Sign Uphere .
In the event of the Wifi or mobile data are not available, the application uses SMS services, that is why we suggest you enter the mobile phone number of the device you are installing the application on while signing up. 
 No worries, the application will not send any SMS messages without your confirmation.						

						To continue, you will need to confirm your email address. You can do that by clicking on the link in the email. 
* Did you not receive the email? Please check the spam folder.						
					
						 Sign in to the app using your email address and the password you received by e-mail. 
The password can be changed later using the Account Settings link.Account Settings.
							
						Write code that you received in the SMS message in web form.

						Add your watercraft using the Watercrafts link. 
 Important:	The application will start sharing the location when the user adds at least one watercraft. This also enables the other app functions (alarms and invitations). 
Together with alarms and invitations also the information on watercraft selected as active is shared.						 
 
						Using the Friends link you can add friends to exchange your location with, or whom you would like to invite for a glass of good wine, or for a slice of ham or cheese.
						
						Find SeaHub on Google Play or on App Store, install it and log in with the login data as on the web application.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I get the message "Error reading event"?

Have you checked the phone location settings? Most likely you disabled the location services on the device. It is advisable to have them enabled for using this app.
The app also works if you only enable the GPS receiver or Wi-Fi and mobile networks.
It is advised to enable the mode using all the three methods as to enhance the accuracy of the shared location.
It takes some time for the device to obtain the precise location (usually 30 seconds is sufficient).
How do I choose friend you which I would like to invite? How can I send an invitation to a friend?

To send out an invitation click on the “Invitation” button. The app will display a list of your friends who are nearby.
You will be able to select friends from the list that you want to invite to meet up.
Your friends will also receive an invitation including your current location and mobile number. They will be able to contact you or simply navigate towards you.
How to trigger alarm?

Trigger the call to help simply by clicking the "Help” button. All other active SeaHub members at a maximum distance of 20NM from your location will also be notified. That is it.
The alarm recipients will then be able to contact you through the VFH channel or navigate towards your shared location.
If the notified user is also your friend, they will receive your mobile number.
